BrickwallThe brick wall stands before me  towering over me  drenching me in shadow.  Two choices lie at my feet:  Stand here for eternity,  never challenging myself,  never taking an unexpected plunge  into the depths of an amazing soul.  Or hold my head up high  and take that wall down  brick by brick.  Laboring until my fingers bled  and sweat trickled down  
the back of my neck.  I could stand here

The Golden TouchYour fingertips graze the back of my hand  As you look me in the eye and make your move.  Your pink lips press against mine as if it were for the last time  And the smoke from your breath lingers on my lips.  I can still feel the part of my face,  From where your whiskers rubbed it raw.  I can still feel your arms wrapped around me  As the comfort courses through my veins.  This is what it feels like to be alive again.  Your hands caressing the curves of my face,  Your lips gently brushing the skin on my neck,  
Your heart beating a million miles a minute.  This is what it feels like The Golden Touch

Un-happy Valentine's dayThe ring you bought will tarnish.  The flowers that sit on the table will wilt.  The chocolates in the heart shaped box will grow stale.  The singing card will eventually stop singing.  All of this shit is useless.  It’s not romantic, it’s pointless.  All this effort just to prove your love.  When all I’ve ever wanted was the words.  To hear those sweet words fall from your lips.  I don’t need the ring.  I don’t want the flowers.  The chocolate will just make me fat.  And that damn card is annoying.  Instead of wasting your time and money,  Why don& Un-happy Valentine's day

Trying something new...

Hello!

I'm not quite sure what to write. This is all a new experience for me. I've always been one to keep my personal thoughts, well...personal. But I've reached a point in my life where I think it's time to stop being so protected all the time. And go figure this epiphony occured after my heart was shattered into a million pieces. I'm still feeling the pangs of heartache and probably will for a while. But I would love to hear any advice about my writing or making my page just a little bit cooler. Thanks in advance for any feedback I get from you guys.
